A woman ended up with serious injuries to her face after receiving an acid attack, while traveling on public roads in the commune of Fresia, in the Los Lagos region.
As reported Bío Bío Chile, the victim was approached by two strangers when he was a few meters from his home. He claims that he had already received threats from his former partner after ending a 10-year relationship.

“I went out to buy something for my son and two subjects got out of his (his ex-partner) car, because I saw him, it was him. He was wearing a black mask and glasses. He brought two people down, they caught me by the neck from behind and threw a liquid on my face that started to burn when I shot, ”said the victim.
The woman reported the incident when she was on her way to a health center, But a week later, the Carabineros came to his house to inform him that they had made a mistake in writing the report.

Kattia Galindo, the Regional Director of Sernameg de Los Lagos, affirmed that they will sue in the case, to bring justice to the victim.
“We are going to file a complaint to also request the procedures that correspond to this case. Indeed it is pointed out that there was a Carabineros procedure that delayed the subjects who were the aggressors of the woman from being detained at the time the events occurred ”, he pointed.
