Truckers meet again with the Government: leader insists that strike is only suspended

At 9:00 this Tuesday the truckers grouped in the National Confederation of Freight Transportation they meet with the Minister of the Interior, Víctor Pérez. The meeting will address the union’s proposals on security.
9 points that were agreed by the truckers with the Government after the strike in August. In this meeting, other organizations will attend, such as Fenabus and the National Multigremial of entrepreneurs.
All in the permanent shadow of the demonstrations reactivate. Sergio Pérez, president of the CNTC, said that the stoppage is only suspended and they insist that it is a priority that parliamentarians quickly pass laws on security.
In addition, in conversation with La Radio, Pérez added that at the meeting will review the progress they have made on the points of the agreement and that they will also analyze the contingency and the latest attacks on trucks.
Among the union leaders, they agree that it is the southern area that most worries truckers. From Fedesur they indicated that they will not participate in the meeting with the Government because they do not agree with how the negotiations with the union have been carried out and are not satisfied with the work points.
