Cristián Echaiz, lawyer for Moisés Bravo, Tomás’s father, announced on Friday the presentation of a criminal complaint against Jorge Eduardo Escobar, after the arrest of the subject for his responsibility in the death of Tomás Bravo.

The professional specified that the complaint is in the drafting phase and would be filed early this Friday or Saturday night.
This Saturday, the Escobar detention control hearing is scheduled to take place and, given the amount of expert work that must be carried out, it is possible that the Biobío Prosecutor’s Office will request an extension of the detention, the lawyer said. “If the formalization occurs tomorrow, we will immediately request the preventive detention of the accused”, advancement.
Regarding the suspicions about people who would have collaborated with Escobar, the lawyer assured that “We have some elements” that they would contribute in that line. “As has been the trend on the part of the paternal family, we are not going to advance it by the press and since we have done this anonymous work these days, we are going to accompany him to the Public Ministry,” he said.
