The nursing home is “twin” to another, where two of the 37 older residents of the place tested positive for Covid-19.
After detecting this outbreak, the Municipality of Florida instructed that preventive screenings be conducted for all people living in the home. Within these analyzes, it was detected that two older adults tested positive for the virus, one of them being admitted to the Florida Hospital Dra. Eloísa Díaz, while the other patient remains in preventive quarantine.
It was precisely due to the delay in the delivery of official results of the exams, carried out by the Minsal, that the mayor of the commune, Rodolfo Carter, uploaded a video to his social networks showing his outrage at the government portfolio, ensuring that from the ministry They were given several different schedules for the delivery of this information, “humiliating the relatives and older adults who are waiting,” the local authority accused.
“We are assuming an obligation that the State does not assume,” explained the mayor in the Twitter registry. “24 hours ago we did the exams on behalf of the Municipality, and the Ministry of Health has given us five different schedules for the delivery of results.”
