Three inmates escaped from the Osorno Penitentiary Center in the Los Lagos region, which generated a major police operation in the center of the city during the night of this Sunday.
As confirmed by the Gendarmerie Directorate in the region, the incident would have occurred after the inmates simulated a fight, later at 10:30 p.m. generate a strong explosion that was felt in much of the center of Osorno.
Search areas were concentrated in the San Mateo School which is approximately five blocks from the penitentiary to the east side.
