At least three destroyed cabins left two arson attacks occurred at dawn in the commune of Contulmo, Bío Bío region.
The first of them registered around 00:20 hours at kilometer 41 of Route P-60, in the El Natre sector.
Personnel from the Los Álamos Carabineros and the Contulmo Police Station arrived at the site, where they confirmed that two uninhabited cabins they were completely destroyed by flames.
Upon arrival at the scene, police personnel indicated that shots were heard, without any injuries being recorded. At the site of the attack a canvas was found with the slogan “Weichafe Auka, Mapu, Freedom”.
The prosecutor on duty, Juan Yañez, instructed the presence of Labocar.
Second attack
The second attack occurred was reported at about 02:30 hours on the same route and approximately at a kilometer away.
As confirmed by police personnel from Los Álamos and the Contulmo Tenure, a cabin measuring 10 × 12 meters, which was uninhabited, ended up totally destroyed.
In this fact no people were injured and the use of a retardant at the start of the fire is not ruled out, added information from the Carabineros.
This attack did not leave people injured and the prosecutor Yañez instructed the presence of Labocar in the early hours of this Sunday.
