A couple of hours later, Paris stores replied, where he was asked to send the purchase order number by direct message, adding that “the case is being escalated with the corresponding area.”
Later it was the own urban clothing store Streets, owners of the GetOut brand, who came out to clarify the matter.
“We confirm that this was part of a campaign on our part, not associated with Paris. No one is trapped. We understand that it was a bad decision that we will correct immediately. We regret any concerns in this regard ”, they indicated.
Similarly, they added that the message is born in a context of “various messages (that come in the shirts) with the intention of being pleasant. Not all bring the same ”.
“We understand that the message in question is not funny and is not a laughing matter, which is why it has already been withdrawn. We reiterate our apologies “they argued.
On Twitter, the complaint caused a stir, reaching more than 1,700 retweets and 1,300 likes in five hours.
