Primary health personnel of the commune of San Miguel reported a police officer for mistreatment and intimidation when going with a detainee to find injuries.

The situation that occurred at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday was recorded in a register where the uniformed man is seen, recording with a cell phone, without identification on his uniform and with a notebook to carry out identity checks on the workers of the healthcare facility during full hours labor.

Sergeant Rigoberto García accused the personnel of being “Delaying a police procedure”, for not verifying the detainee’s injuries, which was refuted by an official who exclaimed that “we are admitting patients.”

Then, based on the video, the policeman begins to ask a security guard for the information, while he was accused by health personnel.

In the middle of this exchange, the carabinero tells them that “They are like mad dogs” and he told them that he was going to report the facts to the Health Coordination.

“Difference of criteria”

Before the record that was viralized by social networks, Carabineros reported on Twitter that “personnel from San Miguel went to verify injuries to a victim and, due to delay of attention, there was criteria difference with officials of the compound ”.

Likewise, they indicated that “the command ordered inquiries to clarify the situation and determine possible administrative measures if applicable.”
