They rescue a woman who had been trapped after collapse of a jib crane in Independencia | National

Finally the woman who got trapped after the fall of a jib crane in the commune of Independence.

It is about a 45-year-old woman who was imprisoned under the rubble after the machinery of great proportions fell on your home.

The situation occurred early in the morning in the streets of Adolfo Ibáñez with Aníbal Pinto, after the fall of a crane used for the construction of the building of the Tacal Foundation.

For reasons that are being investigated, the machinery fell on several houses, leaving 4 people injured, including the crane operator.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and quickly rescued this last person and two neighbors, while the rescue of the woman was more complicated, being achieved around noon.

After being removed from her home, she was taken to San jose hospital to check your health. The other injured people, meanwhile, were also taken to the same health center.

Through a statement, the foundation reported that regrets the accident and the damages generated to the neighbors.

“Today, our main concern is the residents of the neighborhood and we are requesting information about their health and the damage to their homes. The contract signed between the construction company and Fundación Tacal includes insurance ”, they said.

It was added that the project’s construction company was asked to focus its attention on helping the affected neighbors, to collaborate in the investigation and to modify their operating protocols.
