Faced with questions about the confusing message that is delivered, calling on people to stay in their homes and, on the other hand, grant a new permit, the Minister of Health, Alejandro García, indicated that the intention of the Government is to “establish clear criteria and specific, to scratch the field well ”, assuming that people will go out in the same way to celebrate the National Holidays.

It should be remembered that the measure has been questioned by community authorities and experts, who warn of higher risks of contagion, when the region faces its most complex weeks due to the pandemic. The mayors of La Serena, Coquimbo and Ovalle, communes currently in quarantine, seek to reverse the decision.
