Media in the United States have reported a reprehensible event that occurred in San Francisco, where female passengers insulted and coughed on top of an Uber driver that, seconds before, he had asked them to wear masks to continue the journey.
As detailed by CBS, the victim of the attack was a driver named Subhakar Line, who on the morning of March 7 transported the three young women allegedly from a party.
According to his testimony, at one point in the trip the Uber worker stopped the race and asked the occupants to use the mask, due to the possibility of contagion of coronavirus that could exist in the car.
After that, he declares, the three women began to yell at him, insult him and two of them coughed over his head, facts that were recorded in the vehicle’s camera.
Minutes later, as observed, one of the users proceeded to take the driver’s cell phone, at which point he despaired and took it from her hands. After that the discussion increased even more in tone.

The San Francisco police confirmed that, at the end of the discussion, one of the girls doused with pepper spray to the driver. Later all fled the place.
“I never said anything bad to them, I never cursed, they didn’t raise me that way. I don’t hit people, they didn’t raise me that way ”, Subhakar Khadka exposed the aforementioned medium.
From Uber they issued a statement, in which they indicated that the behavior of the users was “aberrant”, so their accounts were removed from the database.
“This behavior is completely unacceptable and goes against our community standards. Our team investigated this situation and eliminated passenger access to the Uber platform, ”they indicated.
Meanwhile, the authorities announced that they will report the passengers on charges of assault and violation of the “United States health code.”
