The Second Chamber of the Disciplinary Court of the ANFP ratified this Wednesday the decision to play the controversial pending match between Colo Colo and Deportes Antofagasta, which was initially scheduled for September 26, but was suspended due to a case of covid-19 in the delegation of the premises.
Further, Colo Colo must pay about 28 million pesos (990 UF) as a fine for two infractions detailed in the ANFP statement.
“A) That of transitory article 3, numeral 11, with a fine of 495 UF. and B) Violation of transitory article 3, numeral 14, with a fine of 495 UF ”, they specify.
The new sanction corresponds to the fact that “it refers to the late delivery of the PCR examinations,” explains Stefano Pirola, president of the second courtroom.
“It is expressly stated that a minority of the Court was about to apply instead of the previous sanction, the declaration as winner of the match to the Antofagasta Club, due to the sports damage suffered as a result of the behavior of the accused,” added Pirola.
Now it remains to know the date and time in which the controversial meeting between Colo Colo and Deportes Antofagasta at the Monumental stadium will be rescheduled.
