They looted and set fire to the Carabineros church located in the center of Santiago – Nacional

During the afternoon of this Sunday, and in the framework of the demonstrations one year after the social outbreak, the looting and burning of the Carabineros church, located in the center of Santiago.

According to preliminary information and what has been observed through different videos, an undetermined number of hooded people entered the enclosure and stole species from inside.

Later, with them barricaded the outskirts of the church, subsequently setting it on fire.

Carabineros arrived at the scene to control the situation and began to fight the flames with water-throwing cars.

In addition, Firefighters came minutes after the incident began, controlling the flames and preventing their spread.

So far, the Carabineros reported five detainees, of which one had been detained inside the compound.
