The Investigative Police are investigating the death of a 6-year-old boy, who died after being shot in the head, while he was moving in a vehicle, with his mother through Alto Hospicio.
The prosecutor of Alto Hospicio Virginia Aravena, indicated that initially the thesis of the local bullet was discarded and that other hypotheses of how the events would have occurred are handled.
“They were on board a different vehicle than the one that arrived at the hospital, because they arrive in a taxi, but it would have happened in another vehicle, this has already been noticed and the circumstances in which this occurs is what we are clarifying,” said Aravena.
At first, the Carabineros took statements from the witnesses, until the prosecutor on duty ordered the Homicide Brigade of the Investigative Police (PDI) to take up the case and carry out the rigorous tests.
The first information would indicate that the shot came from outside the car, but at the moment there are no detainees or suspects in this case.
The events occurred around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday night, when the minor was driving in the car with his mother, when a bullet hit him in the head, causing his death hours later at the Regional Hospital of Iquique.
