The San Antonio Sex Crimes Investigation Brigade arrested a 19-year-old man for the crime of raping a woman over 14 years of age, illicit perpetrated this Friday, January 1 in a house in the Algarrobo commune, in the Valparaíso region.
The police institution, in coordination with the Public Ministry, carried out a series of proceedings based on a complaint of rape that was presented for events that occurred against a 20-year-old girl.
The crime occurred at a private party, specifically when it ended. It was at that moment that the young woman went to bed in a bedroom, where, according to the complaint, she was attacked by the accused, who He sexually assaulted her and then ran away.
The foregoing is part of the background of the investigation, according to the deputy commissioner of the San Antonio Sex Crimes Investigation Brigade, Ignacio Hernández.
The officers carried out an analysis work at the site of the event, gathering evidence that allowed to prove the authorship of the accused in the criminal act.
For this reason, he was detained in the El Quisco commune and placed at the disposal of the San Antonio Guarantee Court, where he was held in preventive detention and assigned a 60-day investigation period for the case.
