Six people detained left the inspection in Puerto Montt to a tourist van that was heading to a hot springs. Passengers did not have permits for transit in quarantine.

It was a collaborative effort between detectives from the Economic Crimes Brigade, the Undersecretariat for Crime Prevention and Government authorities, which allowed the offenders to be detected.

They were four passengers from Puerto Montt, one from Los Muermos and one from Santiago, who were traveling in a van that provided tourist services, bound for some hot springs in the area.

Mauricio Gavilán, commissioner of the PDI Economic Crimes Brigade, gave more details of the fact.

The people were released, pending the summons of the courts, and a complaint was made to the company to which the vehicle belonged, for not carrying out essential work in quarantine.
