They arrest a femicide who killed his partner in Peñalolén

Carabineros from the 43rd Police Station in Peñalolén arrested a man accused of killing his partner in the Peñalolén commune.

The femicide, as reported by the police information, would have been carried out this afternoon.

The accused was at the home of relatives in the La Reina commune and, as reported by Lieutenant Colonel Rodrigo Soto, sub-prefect of the Eastern Prefecture Services, he had a criminal record for homicide.

The police contingent managed to reach the place where the aggressor was based on information provided by relatives who transferred the victim to a health center in the commune.

“As an institution we strongly condemn all types of violence against women and we call on the community to respect gender equality in pursuit of an integrated coexistence of respect and love for people’s lives,” said the sub-prefect.
