Starting at 05:00 hours this Monday, October 19, six communes of the Metropolitan Region will advance to the fourth step in the face of deconfinement.

As reported by the Ministry of Health, the communes that will advance to Initial Opening are:

What can be done in this phase?

The Initial Opening means being able to resume some activities with a lower risk of contagion, but always trying to minimize crowds.

As detailed by the health authorities

  4. Travel allowed, except for curfew hours
  5. Restaurants and similar places are allowed to operate, with a maximum attendance of 50% of their capacity or with a distance of at least two meters between tables.
  6. Theaters, cinemas and similar venues they can work but with a reduced capacity and without consumption of drinks or food
  7. Do interregional travel only to communes that are in steps 3, 4, 5.
  8. Participate in social and recreational gatherings maximum 50 people in closed spaces and 100 in open spaces, except during curfew hours.
  9. Perform sport activity and participate in team sports with a maximum of 10 people indoors (except public access gyms) and 50 people outdoors. No audience.

Can gyms work?

As of this Saturday, the resolution taken by the Ministry of Health to authorize the operation of gyms throughout the country, in the framework of the coronavirus pandemic.

How can they operate?

– The use of dressing rooms or closed places that are not essential for the operation of the gym will not be allowed.

– The exercise machines will have to be located at least two meters apart.

– There must be a maximum of one person for every 10 square meters in engine rooms.

– In group classes there may be a maximum of 10 people, who will have to maintain a distance of two meters from each other.

– People who attend must spend a maximum of one hour in the gym, participating in a single activity or room.

– In addition, it will be required to sanitize the rooms and that they be ventilated for 30 minutes.

    • Pubs, discos and similar are allowed, with a maximum of 50% capacity
