As of January 1, the cost of the TAG on the urban highways that cross Santiago will have an increase of only 2.7% according to the corresponding CPI readjustment between November 2019 and November 2020.

Said readjustment was established in the agreement reached by the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) with the highway concession companies. Previously, toll roads could increase the price of the TAG by 3.5% per year, in addition to the CPI.

The 2.7% readjustment will be applied to all concessioned roads in the capital: Costanera Norte, Autopista Central, Vespucio Norte and Vespucio Sur, as well as access to the airport and San Cristóbal Tunnel.

Regarding the other interurban roads throughout the country, this week they have also published the readjustment of their values ​​for next year. Depending on the existing contracts, the highways may increase the toll price once a year.

Check the increase in some tolls

  • Route 68 (Zapata and Lo Prado tunnel tolls) $ 2,000 to $ 2,100
  • Troncal Sur will remain at $ 800
  • Route 5 South: Talca- Chillán section will remain at $ 2,600
  • Route 5 North: Serena-Vallenar section (Punta Colorada and Cachiyuyo tolls) $ 2,250 to $ 2,350
  • Limarí Route (Las Cardas toll) $ 2,600 to $ 2,700
