Experts say that, less than a week before there may be changes regarding the Metropolitan Region, the conditions are not there for the capital to advance, so it is expected either a continuity of the transition, or that it goes back to quarantine.
The doctor Jaime Sapag, director of the Master of Public Health at the Catholic University, stated that the increase in cases “is becoming a trend and at the same time it has been seen that in hospital services the number of ICU patients has been increasing, due to Covid but there is also a previous situation of bed occupancy by users who have other conditions and of course due to the impact that Christmas was and what the New Year will be, that will already be seen in January “.
“There are no conditions to think that the Metropolitan Region is going to have a phase 3”, said.
Finally, with the tests released yesterday, the health authority settled at 6,382,766 those analyzed at the national level since March.
