This afternoon the general director of the Carabineros, Mario Rozas, will expose what happened on Friday in Plaza Baquedano, especially what happened with the 16-year-old teenager, identified with the initials AJAA, who fell from the Mapocho River, according to the prosecution after being pushed by the carabinero Sebastián Zamora.
In addition to the edge for a supposed obstruction of investigation that the prosecutor Ximena Chong is investigating, the Public Ministry also supported his accusation of frustrated homicide to the policeman for not having helped the injured minor, nor the rest of his companions. In the images that have circulated on social networks, only another young man is seen rescuing the injured.
What happened that day? Carabineros has a log that recorded minute by minute what happened in the Pío Nono Bridge, where the information of this case began to emerge through radio calls, between 19:38 and 10:06 in the afternoon. There were 28 minutes played in a blog accessed by La Tercera.
The first message about what happened to the minor was at 19:38:30: “Via radial Oriente 1, and subject to cameras they would be inside the bank of the Mapocho River, height of the Pío Nono Bridge, making it known that apparently there would be an injured person”, is reproduced in the document.
Another message, consigned to 19:41:57 says that “via radio service personnel are informed that at 7:35 pm, through cameras in the Prat room, a subject is thrown into the flow of the Mapocho River, Puente Pío Nono ”. For the police, however, the key, and what General Rozas has already informed the government, and will explain to the congressional commission today, will be that help was requested for the young man, refuting, what was assured by the prosecution yesterday in the audience.
At 19:42:12 it is reported that “AX-IP 22550 is called 131, operator 66 of the SAMU sends an ambulance to the place ”. Three minutes later it is noted that “after reviewing the recording of the moment of proceeding, now with a zoom in the video, it is established that a police officer collides with the subject and he falls into the Mapocho River.”

And AX-IP-22550 contacted Samu’s Oper.26 to find out where the injured was transferred. There is no knowledge yet, they are working on the spot ”.
The last two messages already give an account of who was the officer who would have caused the fall of the minor. At 20:04:54, the document states that “according to information from the FF.EE, the Carabineros Sebastián Nicolás Zamora Soto C / F 020061-V, would be the one who tried to take the accused, the subject who fell to the bank of the Mapocho river.
