The justification of the former rabbi Zamora in the Pío Nono case: “He was all morning and afternoon throwing stones”

The antecedents regarding the case of Puente Pío Nono, where a young man was pushed by police and ended up unconscious in the bed of the Mapocho River, continue to appear. Everything, while the only defendant in the case, insists on his innocence.

And in that sense, his lawyer, Nubia Vivanco, stressed that Sebastián Zamora’s attack had no other purpose than to detain the minor under 16 years of age.

In an interview with Channel 13, the lawyer indicated that she asked her client about the reasons she would have had to apprehend only him and not the rest, obtaining the answer: “I hadn’t seen them doing anything.”

“I look back at this boy and I had seen him all morning, and most of the afternoon, throwing stones at us, blunt elements, hitting cars,” added the lawyer, citing Zamora’s words.
