“I see that you are a little excited …”, Checho Hirane commented to Marco Enríquez-Ominami this morning at Café Cargado, the new program of the animator and comedian broadcast live on La Red.
The former presidential candidate was teary-eyed after Hirane reminded him of words of affection said by Fernanda, the eldest daughter of Karen Doggenweiler and Enríquez-Ominami. But the politician said there was another reason for his excitement. He said:
“Well, my dog, Meo, is also dying. His name is Meo and that makes me very sad. He’s a lovely fat man from the street. Well, things come together ”.
The pet that was rescued and spent more than a decade with the Doggenweiler / Enríquez-Ominami couple suffered from various tumors, in the brain and other parts of his body, and had to be euthanized shortly after.
