The lawyer who hosts the famous program “Caso Cerrado” recounted in detail a case that has her at the center of controversy in Spain.
This is the case of Luna, a bilingual Colombian girl who says she cannot speak Spanish and prefers to communicate in English during the program.
The situation obfuscated Dr. Polo, generating a wave of criticism.
“How nice, this has gone viral in Spain,” said Dr. Polo to an Iberian channel. “Here in the United States that episode has not come out yet.”
As summarized by the lawyer, “it is a girl who has been a victim of bullying and then she becomes a bully.”
On the show, which became a trend on Twitter due to Dr. Polo’s furious reaction, the lawyer refused to speak to the young woman in English.
“Listen to me, if you don’t speak Spanish, you’re leaving. Do you understand me? I’m not playing with you. You are not going to challenge me. I am not interested in your filthy, stupid and idiotic challenges, ”he tells the Colombian girl.

“Don’t lose your roots”
Finally, Dr. Polo tells the young woman not to forget her roots.
“The anger that gives me with all this is that, a person who is a victim of bullying, then takes the position of the same bully,” said the lawyer.
Then she continued: “Forgive me if I was so hard on you, but I think you have to understand that you must be proud of your roots and that you cannot lose your Spanish.”
“I’m going to tell you something: I grew up in this country. When I was two years old, I came from Cuba, I learned to speak English here. If today I am a recognized and respected person in thousands of countries around the world, it was not because of my English, it was because of my Spanish ”, he continued.
“My mother always told me ‘keep your language, you never know when you will need it.’ And look, well, I’m here. You know me and many people know me because of my Spanish, ”said Dr. Polo.
Then he closed: “Don’t lose your roots.”
