The emotional message from the University of Chile to Manuel Iturra: “We thank you for defending our shirt to death”

This Monday, Manuel Iturra announced his retirement from professional football at 35. The agency that represents the Colocho, AIM Fútbol, ​​released the news through its social networks.

The midfielder had a long career of 17 years, where he went through several Spanish soccer clubs. In addition, he had passes through Portugal, Italy, Israel and Mexico. In Chile, his last club was Deportes Iquique, but his great house was Universidad de Chile.

Colocho is a U-trained and where he debuted professionally in 2003. He played until 2010 in Chuncho, being champion of the First Division twice in 2004 and 2009.

This is why the lay club dedicated an emotional message to Colocho for his retirement from the activity: “Those of us who saw you in cadets and on the field thank you for defending our shirt to the death and wish you the greatest success in this new stage.
