He constitutional Court (TC) will initiate summary investigations against two officials who would have received the Middle Class Bonus (of $ 500 thousand) without meeting the requirements.
On October 2, the Internal Revenue Service (SII) released the results of the data verification that was carried out around those who obtained the benefit, detecting that more than 437 thousand people declared less income and would have to return it.
Of that group, explained the supervisory body, more than 37 thousand are Public Service officials and now it is known that two of them work in the TC.
This is how they record it Trades issued from the Ministry of Finance and the SII, which were referred to the aforementioned court, then the summary investigation was initiated by order of the president of that instance, Maria Brahm Barrel.
The information was released by Brahm Barril herself in an ordinary session in which the Plenary of the TC participated, where the secretary of the instance was requested, Maria Barriga Meza “Instruct a summary investigation of two officials of the Court.”
Sources of Radio Bío Bío ruled out that any of the officials involved is one of the 10 members of the Constitutional Court.
The SII gave deadline until November 30 for beneficiaries who did not meet the requirements to return the funds, or they present antecedents that allow to regularize their situation.
The organization has already contacted the workers informing them of their situation, who will have the possibility to provide information that proves circumstances that may not be considered.
