The Constitutional Court accepted the appeal filed by the Government against the reform of the second withdrawal of 10 percent, project presented by a group of opposition deputies.
The vote ended in a tie 5 to 5 and she was the president of the instance, Maria Luisa Brahm, the one that decided in favor of processing the appeal.
In addition, the TC also voted in favor of admitting the appeal presented by the Government.
The ministers who voted in favor of the processing and admissibility were Miguel Angel Fernández, Cristian Letelier, Juan Jose Romero, Ivan Arostica Y Maria Luisa Brahm (with a casting vote); while they found they voted Rodrigo pica, Maria Pia Silva, Jose Ignacio Vasquez, Gonzálo Garcia Y Nelson well.
