It seems that people do not get tired of Super Mario 64 and managed to port it for PC, although it should be mentioned that it was not Nintendo.

Most of the fans who have decided to create games with Nintendo franchises, even if not for profit, have been hunted by Nintendo during the development of the games themselves with almost no opportunity to defend themselves. But that’s because they announce by all possible means that they are making a game with a Nintendo franchise.

The one that the creator of this new version of Super Mario 64 made different from the rest of all the others, is that he basically did not promote his game at all and when he launched it it was not in parts or with early access, he launched it completely.
Surely Nintendo it will start making all download links disappear, but while you can, you could still search and download it.
