Regarding the reasons for the service cut, it was stated from VTR that “The failure would be due to two cuts in its fiber optic network”.
“In this line, the cause of one would be a fire, while that of the other is still under investigation “, explained from the Undersecretary of Telecommunications.
In addition, they recalled that according to current regulations, “users have the right to a discount on their monthly rate for any suspension, interruption or alteration of a service for non-attributable reasons that exceeds six hours in a day or twelve discontinuous hours in one month”.
