A vehicle control ended with the arrest of five people in the commune of Machalí, in the O’Higgins Region.
The arrest occurred after the car try to evade control and run over one of the uniformed men who was at the scene. After this, another police officer fired at the car and managed to finally lose control and stop in Carretera del Cobre.
The driver will go to detention control for the crimes of attempted homicide against Carabineros officials, drunk driving me violation of article 318, for putting public health at risk.

The Mayor of the O’Higgins Region, Ricardo Guzman, indicated through Twitter that “the vehicle was tried to control in said commune (Machalí), and its driver fled, generating a persecution“.
