In the Valparaíso Region, Viña del Mar and Valparaíso They are two of the communes that came out of the confinement measure, passing to the transition stage.
According to the latest Epidemiological Report, active cases in Viña del Mar are 302 (active incidence rate 83.6, 361,371 inhabitants) and in Valparaíso 303 (active incidence rate 96.0, 315,732 inhabitants).
The mayor of Viña del Mar, Virgina Reginato, celebrated the release from confinement, noting that “at last great news for the families of Viña del Mar. We need to reactivate Industry, Commerce and Tourism ”.
For his part, the mayor of Valparaíso, Jorge Sharp, said the lack of refinement “cannot lead us to relax, we must continue to take all sanitary measures in order to protect the population of our city and also neighboring communes.”
Other communes that come out of the confinement measure are Licantén, San Clemente, Hualqui, Lonquimay, Maullín.
Likewise, Quillota and Linares advance to stage 3, preparation.
These measures will be in force from Tuesday, October 13 at 05.00.
On the other hand, it was reported that the communes were in stage 3, of preparation, and were going back to transition. These are: Cañete, Colipulli, Pucón. The measure will be effective from Saturday, October 10.
