The Government announced changes in the plan Step by Step on the Metropolitan region, due to an increase in cases of COVID-19.

Transition (Step 2): Santiago, Ñuñoa, Central Station, Recoleta, Maipú, Peñalolén, La Florida, Puente Alto, San José de Maipo, Padre Hurtado, La Pintana, San Bernardo, El Bosque, La Granja, Independencia, La Cisterna, Lo Espejo, Lo Prado, Pedro Aguirre Cerda, Pudahuel, Quinta Normal, San Miguel, Cerrillos, San Pedro, Calera de Tango, Buin, Lampa, Isla de Maipo, Paine and Pirque.
Preparation (Step 3): Alhué, Talagante, Peñaflor, Renca, San Joaquín, Cerro Navia, Colina, Macul, San Ramón, Providencia, La Reina, Vitacura, Las Condes, Lo Barnechea, Curacaví, Quilicura, El Monte, Conchalí, Melipilla and Huechuraba.
Initial Opening (Step 4): Tiltil and María Pinto.
