This Monday, the Ministry of Health announced changes in the Step by Step plan during the protocol balance for the covid-19 pandemic.
Specifically, the Undersecretary of Crime Prevention, Katherine Martorell, specified that the Atacama region, in its entirety, will advance to Initial Opening this Thursday, December 17; starting at 5:00 am.
Meanwhile, in the Magallanes region, Punta Arenas will also advance, but in this case to the Transition phase. The measure will also be effective as of this Thursday, December 17 at 5:00 a.m.
Finally, the Magallanes region will see the curfew modified starting this Thursday.
As reported by Martorell, the schedule will change and will be from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
The undersecretary also specified that in Punta Arenas, “the stores that can open only from Monday to Friday must have a ‘health seal’ that ensures that they comply with protocols.”
In addition, he said they will implement the strategy of doubling the applied daily PCRs.
