The states of Arizona and Wisconsin officially certified this Monday the victory of Joe biden in the American presidential lessons, consolidating the success of the Democrat before Donald Trump, who has yet to admit defeat.

“Today we signed the certification of the 2020 elections in Arizona,” he tweeted Doug Ducey, the Republican governor of that state who has stepped into the Democratic field for the first time in nearly 25 years.

Biden won a narrow victory, by a margin of 10,457 votes, in a state in which almost 3.5 million voters cast.

The Arizona Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, responsible for electoral operations, said that the election was “conducted with transparency, precision and fairness (…) despite numerous unfounded accusations to the contrary.”

Later, the Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, announced the certification of Biden’s victory in a state that voted for Trump in 2016.

Arizona also certified the victory of the Democratic candidate for the Senate, Mark Kelly, so that “he can be sworn in as soon as possible,” Ducey stressed.

The certifications released this Monday do not necessarily mean the end of Republican appeals to the courts, since, for example, Arizona allows the results to be challenged even after they have been validated.

In fact, Trump’s campaign team has tried, so far without success, to hamper the certification process of results in key states won by Biden by challenging them in court.
