“Star” members of the plebiscite: one arrived at the polling station drunk and another was driving a stolen car

And the table members have been the protagonists. During the first hours, the case of a member who was suspected of covid and who demanded his right to vote was known.

But he is not the only one that generated a stir. In Punta Arenas, a man who had been designated for the same task, was arrested by the police for showing up at his polling place drunk.

In Santiago, in addition, police officers detected another of these “star” members. In the Pudahuel commune, officials proceeded to arrest a man who was on his way to excuse himself for not being a table member.
