The possibility of reinfecting a person with the virus is a factor of international concern, as many countries hope that their already infected populations can develop sufficient immunity to contain the pandemic.
Data reported by South Korea show an increase compared with 51 reported cases of the second infection on Monday.
About 7,000 South Koreans have recovered from COVID-19, a disease that causes coronavirus.
