The Finance Commission of the Chamber of Deputies intends to meet this Tuesday, secretly, to review the “Forgiveness” to the Penta Group carried out by the Internal Revenue Service (SII).
Due to this session, to which the director of the SII, Fernando Barraza, is invited, the Association of Inspectors of the SII (Afiich) issued a statement in which it clarified its position on the facts, making clear its disagreement.
“Citizens have expressed themselves in the streets for more than a year, demanding that the privileges that a minuscule part of society have enjoyed for years end, demonstrating it in a forceful way on Sunday, October 25, when almost 80% of those who went to the polls, were inclined to change the current Constitution, the basis of all inequalities, “they say.
In this context, they affirm that what happens in tomorrow’s session could cause the creation of a possible investigative commission to investigate the “Pardon” and punish those responsible.
The statement ends with a message to the members of the commission, asking them to rise to the occasion, to hear the voice of the people, and to be categorical in “rejecting any hint of doubt that a few continue to drive the law and its loopholes for their own benefit ”.
