The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights reported that this Tuesday the doctor’s unwavering resignation was accepted Juan Pedro Aros, who served as national director of the Legal Medical Service (SML).
Hoops, who argued his departure for personal reasons, assumed the National Directorate in September of this year, after applying for Senior Public Management.
As is stipulated in this type of contests, since the presentation of his resignation is specified within the first six months after assuming the position, the President of the Republic, Sebastián Piñera, within his powers, may designate any of the people who were part of the shortlist drawn up by ADP.
That is why it has been decided to appoint as the new national director, Dr. Gabriel Zamora Salinas, who was part of said shortlist and who until today served as deputy medical director of the SML.
Dr. Zamora is surgeon from the University of Chile, specializing in Pediatric Traumatology Surgery, Public Health and Legal in Thanatology, stand out from the Government.
Throughout his career, in addition to his position at the SML, he has served as medical deputy director of the Viña del Mar-Quillota Health Service and as director of the Gustavo Fricke Hospital.
