“We have asked that this process be sober and convey to the public that we are starting from a very incipient stage, there are 10 thousand doses to reach 5 thousand people and the goals are much more important that one, ”Siches told Radio Universo.
“For no reason these vaccines can mean a relaxation on the part of the citizens. If not, unfortunately, we are going to have one or two important increases in cases in January or in the fall and that is counterproductive, “he added.
“Hopefully the Government will channel the communication strategy to something that is taken with the seriousness that is required and also do not show off this process “, said the leader of the doctors.
In contact, Siches stated that as a guild they hope that other vaccines different from Pfizer / BioNTech, with less complex transport and storage conditions, promptly receive the green light.
