But the coronavirus had no mercy, because the painful situation facing the family group did not culminate in the harsh loss of marriage. One of her daughters had been notified as a carrier of the virus, presenting serious ailments that led her to be admitted to a health center. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the pandemic claimed a new victim within this family, hitting the entire community.
The difficult story did not end there. During the day yesterday the funerals of the second daughter of the couple were held, who during this last time had to experience the annoying symptoms of the virus and its most serious complications. He fought for several weeks to improve himself in a hospital facility, but the damage that Covid-19 generated in his body were greater.
In the presence of her neighbors, who said goodbye to her with white balloons and a small tribute, the woman’s remains were transported accompanied by a caravan to the local cemetery.

The death of family members due to the coronavirus keeps the inhabitants of Vicuña affected and surprised, by the speed with which everything happened.

The Minister of Health, Alejandro García, regretted the death of the four people in the family group and indicated that “today more than ever we must reinforce preventive and self-care measures for covid.”
