Seven people died due to two traffic accidents registered in the last hours on highways in the Maule region.
The most recent corresponds to a high-energy collision of two vehicles that occurred this Saturday morning, which leaves 3 fatalities and two injured people, in the province of Curico.
The emergency arose at kilometer 7 of the J-60 route, in the sector of the Rauco bridge, which was attended by a rescue unit from the Curicó Fire Department.
To this fatal event is added another, which occurred on Friday afternoon, where a collision with overturning left 4 dead at the Semillero and Queri crossing, on the L-11 route that connects Yerbas Buenas and Colbún, province of Linares.
Unfortunately, a whole family lost their lives in that accident: the father, the mother and the two children.
Both accidents will be investigated, by instruction of the Prosecutor’s Office, by the SIAT de Carabineros to establish responsibilities. Situations that once again mourn the routes of the Maule region.
