Seremi apologizes for sharing illustration of the discovery of America with Cristiano Ronaldo | National

The seremi of Culture of the Metropolitan region, Alejandra Novoa, should have come out to apologize after posting an illustration to commemorate the discovery of America.

However, the image is actually a humorous piece, since there is a woman in the shirt of the Real Madrid and a child carries a photo of Cristiano Ronaldo. Cristóbal Colón is also offered a Barcelona scarf and a native takes photos with a cell phone.

The humor was confirmed by the creator of the illustration himself, Genrus, who pointed out that his drawing it’s a parody.

Apologies

Faced with the obvious mistake, Novoa deleted his tweet and then he published an apology about what happened.

“I am publicly sorry for the inconvenience my previous post caused and I would like to sincerely apologize. The image used has nothing to do with work that we develop daily. It will not be repeated ”, he said.
