For Tuesday’s session, a busy legislative agenda is expected in the Senate. It will begin at 8:30 in the morning with the Finance and Labor Commission together to analyze the project that the Government presented for a second withdrawal of 10% of pension savings.

In this parliamentary instance, the proposal will be voted in general. And if it is approved, it is already cited for review, in particular between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., since the initiative was entered with immediate discussion.

Then, the La Moneda initiative will be voted on Wednesday in the Chamber of the Upper House, although that same day, previously, the reform promoted by the opposition that proposes a universal withdrawal of 10% will be reviewed, unlike the Government, which He proposes limiting it and taxing the higher-income sectors.

If it is approved, some parliamentarians say that it makes no sense to vote on the government project. However, they would still have it as a “card up their sleeve” in case the reform withdrawal is challenged in the TC.

Meanwhile, at 9:30 am on Tuesday, the Budget Law Chamber session is also scheduled, with sessions in the morning and in the afternoon starting at 4:00 pm.

Likewise, as of 2:30 p.m. the Mixed Commission is summoned to continue analyzing the Migration Law, to be able to dispatch the respective report and send it to the review of both chambers.
