Senate approves bill that lowers parliamentary diet and goes to law

Deputies Gabriel Boric (CS) and Giorgio Jackson (RD) They were looking to reduce the diet by 50%, however their proposal did not pass the joint commission last week.

There will be 5 people who will compose a commission, which will be in charge of defining the amount in the next 30 days, after it is enacted into law.

After the approval, Boric expressed through Twitter that he expects the reduction “Be substantive and not symbolic.”
