James Hamblin is a Yale University academic and preventive health scientist who has been leading an experiment for five years that aims to show that daily bathing is not necessary.

The scientist wanted to verify that bathing daily can have negative consequences on our body, mainly on the skin and hair, as the constant use of chemical products damages the natural ecosystem.
