RURAL AND ISOLATED AREAS
In regions, s2,026 transport services were provided subsidized by the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications that will cover rural and isolated areas, to encourage all people to have mobilization to attend to vote.
These services include rural buses, trains, maritime, river and lake transport, and the details of the routes and their itineraries are available at www.mtt.gob.cl and www.servel.cl.
The urban public transport -buses and collective taxis- of the different cities of the country, will operate as a business day, that is, with frequencies and hours greater than those of an average Sunday to facilitate the movement of people.
In addition, it is important to reiterate the mandatory use of a mask in public transport, as well as self-care measures such as hand washing or the use of alcohol gel to minimize the risk of contagion.
