In the episode of this Saturday 7, “Saturday night live” presented a series of sketches related to the triumph of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris who met hours before, having Jim Carrey and Alec Baldwin again as President-Elect and Donald Trump imitators.
In a kind of thank you speech, Biden and Harris, played by Carrey and Maya Rudolph as in recent weeks, appeared in front of the screen.
“There are situations in life where there must be a winner and a … loser”, expressed Carrey’s Biden, in a move that made a nod to his “Ace Ventura” character, making the “L” (“loser”) sign on his forehead with Rudolph.
On the other hand, Baldwin imitated Trump with a speech in which he claimed he was re-elected but they are trying to rob him, he shouted “Stop the count” until he was told that he was losing, to say “Count every vote” (“Count every vote”) and said there was actually a “red wave” in the United States, showing a map of “COVID-19 Cases” at the top.
Trump ended up sitting playing piano and singing “Macho man” by The Village People, and affirmed that “this is not a goodbye, United States. I am only going to say: See you in court.”
