With serious criticism of what is now his former party, Deputy Harry Jürgensen submitted his resignation to the National Renewal.

In explaining his decision, he pointed out that after 33 years of militancy because of the changes that based its origins on the political spectrum.

“Renovación Nacional stopped being an orderly party with an act that was inspired by our principles. Also, some time ago, the value of internal democracy was taken away ”, assured Jürgensen, who argued that the party “fell into the easy way, into populism, to ensure future elections.”


He clarified that he is not looking for a new political party, but that he will continue working until the end of his parliamentary term.

He concluded by dissenting from the action of some of his peers who approved certain projects, saying that “today there are too many RN parliamentarians who vote in any wayWithout considering the knowledge of recognized experts, neither the principles nor the commitments of the party are respected, nor the positions of their own colleagues on the bench ”.

Regarding the above, he recognized that this points to the rejection of a new constitution that they are supposed to defend, as well as reject the first withdrawal of 10% of the AFPs.
