A curious fact was experienced on Sunday morning in the Central Station district, where a bull walked through the streets of that commune, having to be tied to a tree in the middle of a residential neighborhood at the intersection of Las Araucarias and Titán streets.

The animal was seen for the first time around 4:00 in the morning when, from the Professor’s Hospital They gave notice that the bull was prowling the parking lot, so Carabineros personnel arrived to track and capture it.

This was explained by Major José Vielma, operative leader of the 21st Central Station Police Station.

What was a bull doing in the street?

There were different hypotheses of how the animal had arrived at that sector, because no rural places nearby.

Carabineros tried to contact the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG), to see how the animal could be taken to a safe place while the owners appeared.

Finally, that happened after 11:00 in the morning when the owner of “Toing”, who is only 1 and a half years old.

María Cifuentes, its owner, related that the animal got away during a robbery, at the time when two cows that were in his home were stolen.

Neighbors described the event as unusual, and that is why some came to take photos.

The animal remained in the house of María Cifuentes, who is dedicated to the breeding and sale of cattle in the Santiago town, very close to where he was seen during the morning.
