Resignation of Arturo Zúñiga: Minister Paris anticipates that this Wednesday the new Undersecretary of Assistance Networks will be known

After knowing the resignation of the Undersecretary of Healthcare Networks, Arturo Zúñiga, Health Minister Enrique Paris announced that this Wednesday the name of the new head of networks will be announced.

In statements made in one of the patios of La Moneda, the Minister of Health acknowledged that he is “sorry because (Arturo Zúñiga) leaves the team but I hope to have a new undersecretary who will continue to do the good work that Arturo did”.

“He (Arturo Zúñiga) was appointed by (Jaime) Mañalich, but I continued with the two undersecretaries (also Paula Daza), and Arturo has done very well “added the secretary of state.

Regarding the appointment of the new Undersecretary of Healthcare Networks, Paris indicated that “I hope that tomorrow we will have an announcement about the new undersecretary, I have to discuss it with the president (Sebastián Piñera) first”.

This Tuesday, Arturo Zúñiga resigned from his post amid the controversy over mail deliveries that the Public Ministry requested from the Minsal and amid rumors that the commercial engineer would be considering running for a parliamentary candidacy.
